About Us
Finding Inspiration in Every Turn
Our Story
Our journey began over a decade ago, working in the Violence Against Women and Girls (VAWG) and homelessness sectors. As colleagues, we witnessed first-hand the devastating impact of VAWG and homelessness on individuals and communities. However, we also saw the potential for positive change.
After 14 years of working in the field, we came together and recognised the need for education to effect change. Our experiences showed that education was crucial in shifting societal norms and attitudes, ultimately leading to more effective prevention and intervention strategies.
With this vision in mind, we founded our organisation to provide education, training and consultancy to individuals, organisations, and communities. Our aim is to empower individuals with knowledge, skills, and tools to better understand and respond to VAWG and homelessness.
Our approach is firmly rooted in our collective experience and expertise in the field. We deeply understand the complex intersections of vulnerability and traumatic events and how these issues uniquely impact individuals and communities. We are steadfast in our commitment to working with communities and partners in addressing these issues.
Our organisation provides a range of comprehensive customised services, including workshops, webinars, and consulting services. We work with diverse clients, including non-profit organisations, government agencies, and private sector organisations. In addition to our training and consultation services, we also chair Domestic Homicide Reviews and Children in Need Panels.
Our mission is to create a world where VAWG and homelessness are no longer tolerated or ignored. We believe that education is the key to achieving this vision, and we are committed to equipping individuals and communities with the knowledge and skills to effect positive change.
